Qualified Yoga Teacher
I have been practising Yoga for over 20 years, studying styles that include Yin / Restorative, Hatha and Aerial Yoga.
I aim to integrate elements of each of these styles into my teaching to create interesting and fun classes that are accessible to all levels of ability.
I initially began Yoga practise to deal with anxiety and panic attacks, depression, get fitter, lose weight and to develop strength and flexibility, but it soon became apparent that with the right teacher and regular practice it can lead to so many other positive health benefits.
Yoga was developed from the belief that in order to be in balance with one’s environment and the self, one must integrate the body, mind and spirit. This is achieved in yoga by integrating emotion, action and intelligence in the form of breathing, exercise and meditation.
